Today our trip took us back to the channel to the GIWW. The scenery continued to be pretty along the way and the GIWW widened and got more marshy. We had a few dolphin visitors, who enjoyed bow riding rather than wake surfing. I'm sure you are sad that I didn't get any more dolphin shots but winds were gusting around the mid to high 20's and the camera would have gotten wet as I leaned over the bow. (But that didn't stop me from leaning over and getting sprayed to watch them!) I did get a bunch of pictures of pelicans perched on green navigation cans as they tried to remain balanced on the cans as they bounced in our wake:)

After about a 3 hour trip, we settled into a Bayou off of the bay and enjoyed the sunset and the smell of a nearby paper mill :(
