Today was a fun filled day. We left Pensacola about 11:30 and headed out to Alabama! As we headed to the GIWW I noticed an airplane heading directly down to earth. It disappeared in the horizon and I was worried:( Ha! I was fooled because it was the Blue Angels doing training! We were headed in the direction where they were doing their maneuvers and we got to experience about 30 minutes of their tricks. It was really exciting. Of course, our better camera's battery died at the beginning of the show but I got a few shots.

After we passed the base, we went through some quiet areas with beaches and residential development. We also got to witness the antics of two dolphins playing in our wake. One dolphin liked to show off by twirling around 360 degrees and then leaping into the air.

Our trip was short today (3 hours) and we are anchored in a beautiful bayou. Once we were settled, we took the dingy out to explore and the scenery was lovely. The banks of the bayou have a lot of magnolia trees. There were some blossoms out but a ton of buds. It must be something in about a week, when everything is in bloom.
