Again today was a grey and gloomy. We headed down the Neuse River to Adams Creek and into Beaufort. A big highlight of the day was having about 5 dolphins appear near our boat in the Adams Creek. Two of the dolphins swam about 3 feet from our starboard side playing in the the wake, created by our bow. My sister Jean, said they enjoy bow riding! Beaufort has quite a few marinas with working ships, sailboats and power boats. They also have many streets of lovely old homes. Their Maritime Museum is nicely laid out and has a working restoration arm. At the museum you can watch Marine archeologists cleaning up artifacts from Bluebeard's sunken ship, the "Queen Anne's Revenge."
