Our voyage today was quite different from yesterday. Winds were high (20-27 knots) and seas were rough (2-5feet) We had a 4.5 hour trip and it was quite wibbley/wobbley! The captain was really feeling it and was quite pale at times:( We got to the channel into the harbor at Charlevoix and were just entering it when a big ferry was coming right at us. So...we backed up into the rough seas once again and once the ferry exited, we re-entered the channel but had to wait 20 minutes (with the captain having to battle with winds and a strong current ) for the bridge to open so that we could get into the harbor. Luckily, once we were through, we were able to find a spot to drop our anchor and were able to relax!

Charlevoix is a cute town and it has some unique homes that were designed by a local architect. They are called mushroom houses because of their sloping roofs and they are quite whimsical.
