We had fine weather today as we cruised 4 hours to Croton-on-Hudson. The Hudson was the prettiest we'd seen it yet. We passed the Bannerman Island with its Arsenal and Castle, which are now pretty weathered and unkept looking. We also passed West Point, which is pretty impressive from the water.

We got to Croton-on-Hudson and rented a car. We had a nice seafood dinner and went to BLAZE, an extravagant display of 7,000 hand carved Jack-O-Lanterns. It was the perfect evening to walk through the intricate displays of pumpkins.

The next day we traveled back to Hyde Park, dropped off Mike and Pat so they could travel home to Boston. We then visited the Culinary Institute of America for lunch and visited the FDR museum. We didn't time our trip properly and only had a short visit at the FDR museum and will definitely be back to spend more time.
