It was a beautiful Sunday and evidently a lot of boaters thought it was too because they were out in force! We continued to the west coast of FL through a series of bays and were flanked by islands and keys. We really felt like we were in FL today...warm sun, lots of mangrove forests, palm trees and dolphins! We had about 5 dolphins (or sets of dolphins) playing in our wake again. I never get tired of seeing them stream along side of the boat and come up for a giant leap and resounding belly flop!

We are anchored today near Don Pedro Island, a state park in FL. We took the dingy over to the island and had a nice nature and beach walk. The beach is littered with shells. Pelicans and dolphins play close to the beach. I took a swim, hoping that a nearby dolphin would come by and I could hang on its fin for a ride. The ride didn't happen but the water was beautiful and fairly warm.
