Another rather calm day to travel. Traveling the ICW is back to being slow because of locks, bridges and manatee slow speed zones. We got into Fort Myers in the early afternoon and took a walk around the town. It appears that the town is in the process of being revitalized. There are 4-6 blocks of shops, municipal buildings, etc. that are in nice shape. It's rather cute.

We are staying 3 days. Our friends Virginia and Dan met us for lunch on Saturday and Sunday we are going to the winter homes of Edison and Ford.
