We stayed a total of 3 days in Hammond to do some general boat cleaning and because the marina fees are 1/3 the cost of Chicago.

We went to the nearby Horseshoe Casino and that was a bust...except for the small Noodle Bar in the casino, that was very flavorful.

Unfortunately, this marina is infested with little bugs. After Kevin washed the exterior of the boat on Saturday, we woke to find a ton of dead bugs and spider webs all over the boat. Even after sweeping them up, they left little stains everywhere:( There are really fat carp in the marina waters - maybe they have gotten fat on the bugs!
