Another short, calm, pretty day today as we traveled to Racine. We got in around 1pm and had plenty of time for a 12 mile bike ride and we saw a little of the city and a nearby light house. We were unable to get into a marina in Milwaukee for the 4th of July because there was a big Summerfest Concert series going on. We've decided to stay in Racine and rent a car for a couple of days to go and see Milwaukee and get more supplies to change the oil and transmission fluid.

Milwaukee was a nice city. We spent most of our time there at the art museum. The architecture of the museum is art itself and the collections are well laid out and beautifully exhibited. We also toured around the outskirts of the city looking for the supplies we needed to change the oil and transmission fluid. It was nice to see all the different areas of the city.

Today we went to the Racine 4th of July parade. It was a great show of mid-west americana. We followed the parade up with a visit to the grocery store and then a nice bike ride along the Root River. We capped up the evening with watching fireworks from the deck of our boat.
