Today was a perfect day to visit the Dry Tortugas. We booked the trip on the Yankee Freedom Ferry to the island. It was a day long adventure and the weather was the best it had been for quite a few days. Calm winds and water.

The trip takes 2.5 hours and then you have 4.5 hours on the island to visit the Jefferson Fort, walk around the island and snorkel in the aqua waters.
