We had a very leisurely day today. Had another bike ride around the plantation and then set off to Edenton, NC. Edenton is a really cute, well kept town with lots of history. (which we''ll learn more about in the next few days). We arrived at the marina and spent some time talking with the our fellow dockmates and then strolled around the town. Tomorrow we'll get into the nitty gritty of learning about this town's history.

Day 13

Last night was rainy and windy but we were safe in the marina, behind a breakwall. It continued to rain during the day but we went out and visited a few of the historic houses and wandered around the town. NC closes down on Sundays and Mondays, so we didn't get to see a lot of the interiors of the historic buildings.

Day 14

Last night was even more windy and rainy than the night before but other than a few dents in our fenders, we stayed nice and safe in the marina. The day was bright and sunny and we did some more exploring and rode our bikes to the grocery store for provisions. Off tomorrow to the Alligator River...chomp...chomp.
