A much cooler day to continue our trip up north along the Illinois river. The day started out overcast but then the sun came out. it was a 3 lock day and we had to wait two hours at the second lock, for a big tow to come through. Towards the end of the day the river banks were lined with more industrial sites and barges lined the river. We docked at the free docks in Joliet. We docked along a thick concrete wall- no water or electrical service was available. After getting settled in, we took down our mast because tomorrow we are going through the lowest fixed bridge along our journey. (19' 7")
