A rather short day today but exciting. We continued going through more islands in the Gloucester Pool. There was a very narrow, hairpin turn where we had to call on the radio to warn other boaters we were coming through because there was no way to have 2 boats go through the turn at the same time. Once out of that area, we were quickly faced with the "Big Chute" a lock that lifted your boat on canvas stretchers in a traveling lift and carried your boat up and over a hill. We were a little anxious about the process but when we got there the lift was coming down with a boat and ski dos and they exited right away so we entered and were on our way and didn't have time to worried. It was a unique experience and actually fun.

After exiting we travelled to Sparrow lake and had a nice evening anchored out.
