Our new props arrived today at about 11am. The diver arrived and had no problem putting them on and we went out for a spin to test them. There is a slight vibration for the shaft that is damaged but otherwise things were good. We can't say enough good things about the service we received at Buckhorn Yacht Harbor. Everyone was kind, knowledgeable and very helpful. John, of Kawartha Propellers notified the Krate's Marina in Belleville that we were coming, so we had an easy conversation with them about what service we needed to get done.

We were finished with our testing around 2pm so we decided to get some miles in. We traveled about 15 miles and through 3 locks and tied up to the wall at the Burleigh Falls Lock. We tied up next to a blue hulled Grand Banks from Lewes DE. Once we had tied off, the captain, of that boat, looked up and said "How are your new props?". We then realized that we had heard about him from the Prop place we were using. Kevin had also read about their experience in the AGLCA forum and had been corresponding with him over the past few days. Small world.
