A bit of a gloomy and cool day. We traveled through 3 locks but at lock 13 we were told we would not be able to go through any other locks that day because they had closed the locks. There had been a lot of rain over the past few days and the level of the water was too high and there was too much debris in the canal:(

We had gone through the other locks with 2 other sail boats and we all decided to pull up to a wall In Fonda, NY, which was part of the NY Canal Maintenance Area. There was power at the wall, so that was good.

We ended up having an impromptu get together with the sailors ( a couple from Minnesota and a sailor from near Cleveland) and we had a good time swapping boating stories for a couple of hours.
