Monday was an exploring day on the bikes. Most all the museums were closed for the day. We had fun following the Elizabeth River Trail and visiting the different areas of the city. Norfolk is really an interesting mix of neighborhoods.

Monday evening we think the Navy was testing sonar and it was definitely messing with our heads. We initially thought that an alarm was going off in the boat. We couldn't track it down and then went out and could see other boaters trying to track down the noise. Kevin went on the dock and talked to a few people and the consensus was some kind of test. The intensity and timing of the test went on for about 30 minutes and disappeared.

Tuesday (my B-Day!)

Breakfast in bed, more biking, visiting the Chrysler Art Museum and seeing a glass blowing demonstration. The museum is really lovely and the glass blowers were very informative and entertaining as they created a Venetian goblet - which unfortunately broke at the end:(

We ended the day with a great Southern comfort dinner, courtesy of the kids.
