The weather has gotten overcast and rainy today. We stayed in Nicolet Bay until a storm front went by. I used the downtime to finish-up applying for the various Medicare supplemental policies I needed to get before October and to file quarterly tax returns! Once the storm went through we pulled up anchor for the long (30 minute) trip to Sister Bay. We had to hang around the marina for about an hour to have them sort out our slip but then took the bikes out to explore the town. For some reason, the town reminds us of a ski town. Wide streets and lots of open spaces to dump snow, I guess. There are lots of restaurants and touristy clothing and ice cream shops. We had an early dinner at a favorite tourist Swedish restaurant, Al Johnson's. The restaurant has a grass roof and goats are supposed to graze on it. We didn't see any goats but enjoyed Swedish meatballs, pickled herring, beer and longanberry jam.

Our second day will be spent grocery shopping and more exploring by bike.
