Cape May! Just 2 days away from our home port. We are ready to get back to our family and friends.

We left Atlantic City at 8 am hoping to avoid the increasing chance of rain and winds. Our plan mostly worked but things did pick up as we neared Cape May. It is a rather monotonous trip just going along the coast so we entertained ourselves with talking about our trip and just enjoying some quiet time.

I also decided to do some photography just focusing on the sky and water.

We anchored out next to the Coast Guard training facility. We had to drop anchor three times because of depth, tides and wind considerations.

We took the dingy over to land and went for a nice long walk, had a late dinner and are off to bed.
