Today was great. Sunshine, calm seas and gentle winds. Going through NYC is always an exciting experience. Boat traffic wasn’t bad today and there were new architectural additions to the shoreline:)

As we traveled further up the Hudson, a thunderstorm skirted around us but we experienced only rain and just got to hear thunder and see lightening on shore.

The weather doesn’t look too promising for the week ahead but hey, we are the keeper of our schedule and will adjust as necessary. A good rainy day with a book isn’t a bad thing.

We are staying here another day to get some exercise and provisions.
