Today was a lot of traveling in groups because many boats had to wait for bridges with low clearance to open. Things would get pretty crowded waiting in front of the bridges and boats jockeyed for space. All of the mariners were very polite and once through the bridges, the slower moving boats readily accepted the request of faster boats to make a "slow pass" (passing them without creating a big wake),

We decided to anchor out tonight. Our first possible achorage location was pretty unprotected and we moved on to another spot. It turned out to be the popular achorage spot as I counted close to 30 boats coming in and settling there for the night. Although it was rather cold, it was a nice calm place to rest.
