Today was a good one. There was very little boat traffic. Aside from a few scullers and their launch, tugs with tows and one lone tug, we didn’t run into any other traffic. And up until 7 minutes before docking p, we had overcast or clear skies. Then the wind picked up and there was rain.

We are in a small marina in the middle of nowhere but that’s OK because we couldn’t venture out. We had work to do to get the boat ready to go through our first locks tomorrow. We took the mast down, blew up huge rubber fenders and trouble shooted our navigation software system because we weren’t able to plot our course for tomorrow . Mission accomplished on all fronts! We celebrated with burgers at 5he marina grill.
